Pros

This opener is not only attractive, but it’s so trustworthy. It's extremely heavy and the quality is good. Very compact and easy to use. Very strong and has a nice weight to it.

As a traditionalist that appreciates corked wine and the art of serving it, these openers fit the bill. The one negative i've noticed is the consistency of resistance at the primary rivet. The cork screw works very well.

The cutter has a serrated edge, which i don't prefer, but it works well enough.

Cons

It's so hard that it would take a long time to get it to loosen up to be appropriately functional. The courts group portion itself is very loose and wobbles. Shoddy construction. Corkscrew is now loose and flaps around!

The most important cork screw part broke and very loose after the 3rd time of opening bottle. This makes using it difficult.

It looks too unprofessional to use in my dining room now. It’s too big and bulky. I want to spend money on a corkscrew that lasts longer and is well-made.
