Pros

This soap gives me the cleanest shave of anything i have used so far. A definite cut above the cheaper brands. Sir hare is one of my favorites in my shave soap rotation.

The scent is mild and pleasing and lingers but won’t overwhelm you or your aftershave, if you use one. The shea butter dominates the scent profile but for sure has a classic scent. The only negative is the scent is a little off.

Tallow really lubricates the skin so blade nicks less likely. It shaves smooth and leaves the face feeling great.

Cons

Scent is fine, but smells nothing like a barbershop. I really like tobs sandalwood and was hoping this would be close to that scent. This soap smells only of soap, no fragrance of any kind whatsoever.

I use a stirling soap adjustable razor on the most aggressive setting with a derby blade and i use a stirling soap preshave oil
