The ironing board came with a cover and a thin pad but it wasnt thick enough to keep the metal mesh of the ironing board from ironing a pattern into my clothes

The board surface was a metal lattice style

Although the board came with a pad and cover the pad was so thin i was getting a lattice design ironed into my fabric

A felt pad is so much better than the cheap foam ones which in my opinion are a waste of money

It also comes in a set that includes a new cover which i now wish i had purchased as the stock cover that came with the ironing board is as cheaply made as the original thin foam pad
