I have been using kn filters for all of my cars but was a little concerned when i saw that so many reviewers said it does not fit their toyotas air box

It definitely does have a thicker seal around it than the stock filter but i think there are three things that are making buyers think that this filters housing is to thickthey are not lining up the notch correctly when placing it in the air boxthey are not making sure it is fitted correctly in the back area of the air boxthey are not sliding in the tabs in the back correctlyone of the problems is that the air box design is not very good

For less than 10 i figured it was going to be full of manufacturing defects cheap filtering paper and no where near close to fitting right
