Used it to make vegetarian jai (monk’s food) the rest of the * is tasty, crispy and wonderful. The taste is sooooo good. The flavor and texture is good too!
Each of these highly compressed packets expands to 10 times its volume after adding hot water. I soak a pack in water and it expands in the size of a large bowl when it’s hydrated.
The packaging is great, a small little cuboid turns to lovely floral looking black * mushrooms upon soaking. It is rare to get something that exceeds expectations. Fast shipping and premium quality.
Great item to have on hand and in the pantry. It saves from using too much and risking the unused portion from going stale. The convenience of it in a package so all i have to do is to grab a package when i need it.
They are just as wonderful as the carry out in our ginger garlic vegetable stir fry.
Cons
The texture is on the crispy side, has a weird smell.

I broke off a corner of one of these bricks and soaked it in warm water for 30 minutes and i wish shocked at how many mushrooms i had
They are not kidding when they claim 10 times you have been warned
