The metal brace that hold the foot pedal down is thin but if care is taken with this opening and closing then it shouldn’t be a problem

Bought this having had to return two michelin pumps in short order when the hoses severed after a couple of weeks of normal use

This pump is strong well manufactured has a good compression capacity for fast inflation the presta and scrhrader connection leak 0 during inflation best still the connection locks off after each pump so the only air lost during disconnection is the residual air in the pump

This is an expensive double foot pump but it does its job well and seems very made which should give years of service

I have 3 classic cars along with my everyday driver and i have used a selection of foot pumps over the years including top manufacturer endorsed ones all with disappointing success
