Pros
The gloves fit perfectly and provide an excellent grip. I mainly use them as oven gloves, and they resist heat very well. After a few weeks of use they show no signs of tear or burn.
Great for grabbing hot pots and pans for cooking in general. One getting them wet reduces the thermal resistance.
Cons
These gloves are not going to provide indefinite protection. Within a few uses, the top layer started to degrade. The right hand of the glove continues to tear.

I didn’t pick up the crucible but the prongs that i did pick up with and when i was dropping in the cans before i used some other prongs to drop in the cans i will say i did not feel any heat on these gloves i didn’t hold anything directly but i could not feel any heat over the crucible i built the crucible it was possibly 1 foot and a half on top and probably about 4 feet high
