I always use this large size as a starter add about 4 fresh large tomatoes 1 large yellow onion diced and browned with 1 lb of ground beef and a large tablespoon of minced garlic i added about 1lbs of meatballs and finish it with about 34 cup of salsa the salsa part drives itailian food purists crazy but as i dont use sausage it adds a little zing let it simmer for about 2o minutes it leaves me with enough to eat for 2 meals with about 6 single size servings to freeze and use later just cook fresh noodles and warm up the sauce quick easy and delicious the fresh tomatoes really add canned diced is good as well just not as good

In the past i ordered other spaghetti sauce for her that came in glass jars and had broken jars twice
