My daughter has used them to wash dishes though i dont see how because the silicone isnt as thin as dishwashing gloves but the dishes were clean and she says the hot water didnt bother her hands as much so there ya go

I took one star off because if you hold a hot item for more than a minute you can feel the heat

The only reason for the missing star is because these are supposed to be a one size fits all but my husband cannot put them on

Just so you are aware if you have fairly large hands this glove might not fit you
