Pros

They are great for blending and shading. They melt great with water.

Don't overthink it. The quality is amazing and it brings my daughter's artwork the extra pop it needs. Long lasting with an ok brush included.

I am new to water color paint and this is a great starter paint. Some of the younger kids really dig into the paint when getting color and these held up and lasted.

The prang palette is small and compact enough that cleaning and storing it for later is easy. Will be his go to palette for a long while. The simple color set allows them to practice blending and doesn’t overwhelm them with options.

Cons

This isn't a serious hobby of mine. The paint remains sticky and is hard to wash off hands and containers.

No real artist is going to use the cheap brush that comes with the kit

I will warn you to always let the paint air dry completely with the lid open before putting it away though

The colors are vibrant and nice and price is good but the black looks a lot like an inky dark green

These paints are so much better than other brands

The colors mix well and come out very vibrant compared to other brands

They were able to get full coverage of a 9x12 sheet of watercolor paper we used canson xl
