A very important feature of any tactical pen is the quality of the pocket clip
Personally i like to have the option to be able to train with the tactical pen including on hard surfaces such as trees
Also it takes nice quality refills not junk
Extra features that are less important for me personally but still increase the total value of the product are1

The price is also reasonable so if it breaks or gets lost its not that expensive to replace

I tied a small paracord loop to the lanyard hole in the top to assist with pulling it out of my back pocket

The pocket clip is early bent back if you happen to bend out

My only issue is that the oring in the cap that allows it to attached to the pointed end needs to be lubricated every once in a while to keep from drying out breaking and falling out

For some odd reason most tactical pen designers don’t seem to understand this basic requirement and end up making tactical pens of such bizarre length shape and with so many unnecessary gadgets that it would make the fictional alien in ‘the predator’ series jealous

For me the tactical pen has to remain in a fixed position all day and has to be blindly accessible to be drawn in an emergency situation

The ink part will fill up with all kinds of debris due to training rendering the actual writing functionality of the pen useless
