Pros
Mounting the ring connector on this inverter requires some modifications to avoid possible short of the 2 terminals. Comes with 24 long cables for connection to a battery.
Inverter is powerful enough to charge the things we want and it was $90. Runs my high-end e-bike charger, mac book charger and other sensitive electronics like a boss.
The inverters remote control makes it easier for me to power since i sometimes have an aching back & its fan is quiet and rarely comes on. Which is nice because i had a cheap inverter whose fan would drown out music and keep me up at night.
The unit works very well and can handle a skill saw for a short time. It also handles a garbage disposal which was a problem with the 750 w inverter this one replaced.
Cons
There was no load (nothing plugged in) on the inverter. It's like a relay had malfunctioned because it would flick back and fourth between the green light and the red light with alarm. The output is inconsistent and the usb doesn't work.
When plugging the ice maker into this inverter the inverter briefly shut off when the refrigeration cycle starts then comes back on. This inverter did not power my two tool chargers, both chargers are 290 watts totaling 580 watts. Cooling fan only run... Read More
