Pros & Cons

Pros

Fits my older ryobi and 2 craftsman routers (different holes) also fits my harbor freight 1-1/2 hp plunge router great.

The brass centering pin works really well. The two screws are hefty and give more purchase that you might expect. Fortunately some drilling, it works like you think it would.

Happy with my purchase. Works exactly as advertised. Everything else is good.

It has a 2 larger diameter than the standard base, but this just add stability for template routing. I'm very happy with the thickness of the plate and that it's clear. The pk means package that include both the fixed base and plunge base.

Its made of thick acrylic (5/16 inches thick). It is thick and feels quite sturdy - more so than original plates on any of the originals on my *, dewalt, or porter cable routers.

Quality

Using the centering pin that comes with the powertec plate kit youre able to center the plate where it needs to be

This made my router better than with the factory base

My old bushings and a few jugs that i made would not work with the bosch

However when you remove the bosch plate from the router base you find several other mounting holes that do line up with the powertec plate

Packaging/appearance

I also found the guide collars from the portercable dovetail jig also fit the center hole in the powertec plate perfectly

I laid the powertec plate on top of the original bosch plate and sure enough it didnt match the holes in the original bosch plate

Competitiveness

Worked as expected for a ridgid router on which i had to install guide bushings for dovetail joint creations
