Pros

Such a huge improvement over the om dying battery. Purchasing a new battery has brought the vacuum back to life. The battery fits my dc16 just like the original one that comes with it.

Cons

Tried several times to charge and would not easily slid into vacuum. Save your money and headaches. It’s pretty much useless now.

Product barely fits into vacuum. Problem is that that's as far as it went, lip service. Instead, * product and even worse customer service.

Most of the time it doesn't provide enough current draw for the motored brush head.

Holds a charge and lasts much longer than the six year old original battery pack

My battery was in perfect working condition and 3 months later it completely stopped working

After the initial charge this battery has worked for days probably 15 minutes of use so far and shows 2 of 3 bars of charge on the unit
