Highlights
Quality
Luckily i have not had to use this yet however it appears to be a quality item that will come in handy when needed
And i cant imagine anyone then saying thats a shoddy paint job it must be a terrible product
Seems to be a decent quality jack for the intended purpose
The sticks that you use to work the jack are not the same quality as the jack itself
Competitiveness
Thick heavy powdercoat paint 2piece handle and heavy duty overall
I jacked up a 97 chevy 1500 with a 5

It does not lock into place like other jacks

I scraped off the red paint on the threads and it is a little better but i still would not trust it to stay extended under a heavy load

However this is not so the piston travels only 5 inches less onesixteenth of inch you can extend the lifting range by using the threaded extension but to do this you need to hold the load with a separate support release and lower the jack unscrew the extension and then you can lift the load another 3 inches from its supported position

However in its defence my problems result from my misinterpretation of the specs there is nothing inaccurate in the description you most certainly can raise something to the height of 16 inches above the ground but only if its already 11 inches of the ground piston fully depressed threaded extension fully extended you can also raise it to that maximum height if the load starts 3 inches lower ie the height of the jack 8 inches with the piston at its depressed position but to do so requires 2 operations as described above
