I modified my otterbox to fit by marking the inside of the hardshell where the powerbear battery case would touch and using a dremel tool to cut out a rectangle leaving about 38 from the 3 lower edges and 2 down from the upper edge

Also some reviews indicated the new battery back shell included with the powerbear would not close along the top and at first mine would not close along the top but i kept fiddling with it and it finally locked into place

Before my oem battery would be fully charged at the beginning of the day and from maybe just a few phone calls of usage no data usage my battery levels would drop to 35‰ at the end of the day
