It heats up very quickly. The fine tip is hot enough to quickly soldier a tiny resistor into place. It heats the metal and brazing compounds quickly.

This is one of those products you can tell is engineered by someone who doesn't use it. It creates peripheral heat and it is not comfortable to work.

After 14 months of moderate use, it's now broken. If yours stops working after a few weeks immediately return. But still no respond from the seller. Can't return it to the manufacturer if purchased through amazon.

This soldering iron is cheap junk. It only allows to solder at a low temperature with the use of the tips provided. The plating on the tips peeled off after a few uses.

I hear all the great things about this soldering iron but in my opinion it doesnt heat the wire up enough to solder as quick as a gun

After scraping and cleaning the trace i used zinc chloride paste and added solder around the pin and reflowed solder onto the copper trace

34ppsk34 is a better butane solder tool than any expensive snapon one

Dont waste your time on amazon looking for anything better i go with a brand that i know and trust and this is it

I tried another brand that you couldnt get tips for they were always on back order
