The power probe is a measuring device, however it is a power inducing device as well, designed to energize electrical circuits. Comes with a operating manual and ground aligator clip, fuse. Cuts down troubleshooting time with electrical.
Cons
Arrived packaged nicely but didnt last a day of use for my husband. Today tried to use only second time since received and malfunctioning. Coming that the item is highly priced and is not made to last why even bother?

One thing you can count on when you purchase a power probe product you are getting quality
Also the 3 extension doesn’t work with the 4 different plug
If you need to check for voltage voltage drop test or ohms test use a high quality dmmdvom with high capacitance

The long cord can become cumbersome but its the quickest to test fuses relays and circuits or 12vdc systems

Let me be specific volt ohm meters measure electrical pressure volts and some measure current and ohms etc

Hooked up to the wrong wire or not properly grounded it may power the fan motor but the path to ground may go through your cars processor

I dont know what car you own but a honda car computer will dwarf the cost of this tool many many times over
