First when installing the camera the power should be wired to the reversebackup lights 12v wire and the ground wire can be wired to any chassie ground

This will only turn the camera nd sensors on when the vehicle is placed into reverse

I got it working fairy easily but i ultimately sent it back because it will not work with a step bumper

Dont do that or the system will stay on the entire time the car is running this is likely the cause of the stop stop warning while driving that other reviewers have encountered
