The plot twist is nerve-racking. The murders are also very suspenseful and dramatic. It starts slow, but then winds up and delivers a good story with believable characters and some surprises.

Scarpetta series is forever my favorite. This series is cutting-edge and never gets old. Really enjoyed re-reading this one and looking forward to the others.
