Pros & Cons
Pros
The portmeirion sophie conran range of tableware is both beautiful and reasonably priced. The packaging is magnificent.
Now i just need a cosy that will fit it. Stylish, but a little weighty. It feels like a more traditional teapot shape than my other teapots (from denby and beehouse), which are mostly taller and narrower.
The color is as expected; neutral, soft celadon. It is mint green with chocolate polka dots. I like the sophie conran white because the color and styling are so versatile.
This model is slightly larger, pouring a full 6 mugs of tea.
Cons
The tea 'glugs' out of the spout instead of pouring smoothly. It's quite heavy and clumsy with no helper handle to add stability.

I would not want to be cleaning tea leaves out of the spout as it is quite wide where it joins with the pot but very narrow towards the end
