This version solves both of those issues, and it just plain look nicer and more refined. An excellent and simple product. No real dislikes.

It's designed to pass through usb data while blocking usb power. If plugged in, no power. When plugged out, power goes off.

Without it whenever i turned off my sovol the touch screen and motherboard continued to be powered by the raspberry pi leading it to get very confused whenever i turn the sovol on the next time

Whenever you plug in the usb cables into the printers the voltage from the usb ports causes many issues a printer might not boot another might have a display flash loop another has the display but cant access the list goes on
