Pros & Cons
Pros
New castor wheels look pretty similar but i think they have better swivel bearings and perhaps better axle bearing.
The four leveling feet make it easy to stabilize the tool on an uneven floor. When you raise the the wheels the tool sits firmly in place without moving or tipping to any one corner. The foot locks elevate the stand and machine off of the floor for a ... Read More
Portamate pm 3550 is the battleship of tool dollies. Base is very maneuverable. All 4 wheels can swivel and can be lifted off the ground.
The 21 grizzly bandsaw sits almost perfectly in it and rolls with ease now.
Light grey cross piece requires two cuts, one each end with a grinder thus maintaining the bolt holes as required. Depth and width cuts are different to achieve the best fit.
Cons
The downfall of this product is the cheap castors! Very disappointed in the quality of the castors. Caster wheels are garbage.
The instructions for this item are unusable. The directions are incomplete also and hard to follow. Same on me for not reading the comments first before purchasing. I need to make videos and prove that i'm having issues when they admittedly know about... Read More
The spacing is quite far off. It is difficult to change direction while rolling it around. Leaves draggin marks on the surface.
The threaded stud is stamped at the bottom to attach it to the bearings. The swivel of the casters is non functional, to get the base to rollthe intended direction i had to use a 2 lb hammer to orient the caster. Wheels lock up.

I called bora directly and wasn’t able to come up with a combination of supports to accommodate my needs so i had to make my own supports out of maple wood and reinforced it with a 18” x 1” flat bar

The size of metal used in the supports was not available locally phoenix

First the packaging is truly awful i am sure when shipped by the pallet full to a retail location its fine but ive bought 3 of these and all came from different vendors all shipped with different carriers and all arrived busting out of the seams

The last one looked like it had been dragged here and it was the only one boxed in another box the first two were just coated in a roll and a half of packing tape
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Add to that the box is heavy full of metal that is shifting around and has a nice glossy finish with pictures on it that is difficult to get a grip on
