The hard sides tend after a short while to fail at the clips holding the top to the bottom and the doors tend to lose their fit making them both noisy while driving rattle and dangerous if the door falls inward on the dog

We struggled a little getting one side to lock into the open position but we switched to try the other side and it locked into place without a problem then the difficult side also cooperated so if youre also struggling try on the other side 1st and see if that solves the issue

I put it next to our black “airline approved” carrier that is horribly small and useless for our pups
