The monitor allows power delivery through its usbc charage but i was hoping usbc directly from tabletphone would be able to power up the monitor without having external power

The only device that was able to power up the monitor was tab s4 it didnt require power input on the monitor to display

Its safe to say that the monitor is capable just not all device is able to power it up on its own
