The paint is durable feeling and it feels expensive. This lock seems very durable and i'm very happy to have one! It appears to work well and should be durable over time. It's like having a portable fortress in your pocket.

The only issue is that it has a specific range of doors that it will work with where the door will really be latched

I havent yet tried this product on a hotel room door but i thought it might be a good backup for added security to our front door deadbolt

It should be essential for unaccompanied women in hotel rooms as one never knows when a potential criminal might get ahold of a cloned hotel master key card by either theft or from a dishonest employee
