The wiping tool does help your hose to dry but it wears rapidly so by 20 or so cleanings it is worn out and replacements are not available according to the vendor

To clarify it fits regular nonheated resmed hoses even if you have a humidifier

In my humid environment there are only 2 ways to completely dry the hose
