If you need a quality sharpener buy this one
Competitiveness
However it is very agressive so be careful with your prismacolor premiere pencils
It has been used quite a bit already since i was waiting to use it for all my woodless colored pencils
I recently received a pack of 36 prismacolor verithin pencils which come unsharpened

Ive even used it on my thinner triangular watercolor pencils too and it worked great although this is not recommended in the instructions

There was some uneven sharpening but i attribute this more to the pencil than the sharpener as prismacolor are notorious for this

With this being a smaller sharpener it has to be emptied frequently

When i was a little boy shortly after the midcretaceous period if i remember correctly there were two kinds of pencils fat red ones purchased in the school office for a nickel by first and second graders and slim yellow ones with erasers that cost the third through sixth graders three cents each

To save on battery power it automatically shuts itself off when not being used
