We like the wood handle and basslid incorporated in with the porcelain
I was concerned about any mortar that would either flake off or in some way negatively interact with with the supplements
So now i have a bowl with the grindings of about 3 dozen eggs and i have no idea what to do with it

Marble can also grip onto the contents and you cant remove it all big waste if you have pills
So attractive that we leave it out on the counter

The pounder looks kinda lopsided like it was hot glue gunned wrong or attached wrong

There may be some staining to the mortar but after cleaning it whatever is left is a permanent stain that wont affect future uses as long as its been washed thoroughly by hand

Easy to clean with soap and water in sink do not put any mortar and pestlesin the dw bad idea wouldnt take that risk
