It fits easily in the checked suitcase which is what i was really looking for, is lightweight and has a fabric case/pouch. This happened to be the most affordable & largest option i could find for a travel crate.
Extra room would help with his displeasure at being confined. Cal, one of my dogs, os 104 pounds. We have a 60lb boxer who uses this when we travel.
Cons
This is extremely lightweight and flimsy. Material is not very durable for longevity. Sent back for refund immediately.
The netting on this kennel isn't half as sturdy as the netting in the last one. My dog is 10 years old and crate trained and her simply leaning on it while laying down ripped the whole seam right off.

It isnt that complicated to fold up and fit perfectly in one of our carryon suitcases
