Pros
The bristles are soft. These appear to keep the metal from scratching the pool surface. Extra wide sweep cuts brushing time in half.
Great brush with additional braces to keep it from breaking. But, this thing sits securely on bottom and sides. Glides smoothly and does not need much power to use.
Cons
The brush is now in two parts & can not be used. The sides of the brush have a caps to protect your pool, but they fall out easily and scrape pool's plaster. It's useless now.

Unless you are completely goofy you have to expect a 36 inch flat brush will not fit every rounded angle of your pool
