Its probably operator error but its really hard to push along the bottom at times

The picture shows the vacuum head with a short blue extension at the back which is what a long extension handle not included slips over

Well there were actually two pieces a the vacuum head and b the short blue extension piece

To assemble part b slips into place on part a and is held permanently by a plastic cotter pin
