Pros

Backwashing monthly, shocking 3x a week, and scrubbing the walls every other day. Worth every penny. It's pretty darn impressive. No more alge issues.

No more algae dust on all the steps and sun shelves, the tile grout looked bright and didn't have * black spots. The algae always finds nooks and crannies to escape the chlorine and weekly shock treatments.

Chlorine consumption reduced by approx 70%. This is expensive but a perfect pool chlorinated. Makes chlorinating the pool a no brained.
