Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install, but you need to add some good old white teflon tape to the pipe threads. Needed to replace the pressure gauge on my hayward sand filter.
I like the tick marks makes it easy to tell pressure. Dial is clear and easy to read. Easy to read single number markings.
Cons
What a huge disappointment. Returned it, got a refund, found another brand. Doesn't pay to ship back.
The steel case was poorly sealed and tended to rust. Had condensation inside within 30 mins. Completely rusted and useless after one season.
Guage was set to 5 psi straight out of the box instead of zero. Was reading 50 psi with pump off. It's just a matter of time before this water causes the needle to malfunction.
When off it registers 22. Says 0 pressure. Will not go to zero. I know for this kind of money this is not a precision measuring device.

Easy to install but you need to add some good old white teflon tape to the pipe threads otherwise it slips in just a bit too easy and you end up screwing it all the way in and it still doesnt feel tight

Further if you dont feel any resistance you cant really stop where you want the gauge to be so you can see it easily

Your only choice is to bottom it out in the threads and it ends up where ever it ends up
