Ive made some measurements as follows 16 oz of water the water level is just below the bottom of the infuser tea leaves wont even get wet32 oz of water the infuser is submerged about an inch and40 oz of water the infuser is submerged one and a half inches

Only four stars because when removing the filter with the tea once it is brewed at the right level the lid does not fit anymore
