The problem with some of the ones that retain the cold well is that they get crunchy when they dehydrate so are harder to carry

The cooling effect does work and you can just pour own some cold water to recool the towel when needed

I thought from the pictures on the amazon page it might be netted fabric on the turquoise side but its just small grey dots to match the grey backing

I hung dried mine and i timed it it took 1 hour and 18 minutes in an indoor enviroment 74 degrees with no moving air to dry after going through the washing machine so it was spun and didnt have a lot of moisture in it

Any cloth soaked in cold water and hung about your neck will cool you down
