It is water resistant and lives up to that claim but not water proof so dont submerge it and youll be fine if it falls into a full tub you can probably just shake it out if you grab it quick

It did not stick for more than a few days to the wall so it fell and hit the tub from 6 feet up

Ive seen earlier versions of this have separate buttons at the same price so im not sure why these cant be separated
