Pros
The mesh is fine enough to retain picked up sand and small grit. This bag has a plastic zipper which appears quite durable. Have been using polaris 280 for 15 years.
The zipper is superior to scrubbing out dirty velcro every day. Bag is good quality but the week point is the velcro on top that keeps bag top attached to hose rider.
Cons
This bag only has a 90 day warranty so basically i will buy generics which are cheaper and might last longer. Now it is useless. Just buy the cheaper ones.

I have had good experience with the polaris bags through the years
I originally bought a cheaper brand and the quality was not good and it was hard to unzip the bag while wet
This oem product works better and lasts longer than the discounted copies on the market
Price
The size is definitely as advertised which was a relief to us and the price is better than that of our local pool store
But given it is polaris the price was better than most
Unfortunately it is about 4x the price

I also like free shipping because of amazon prime
Packaging/appearance
But i can reuse the bag later if needed
Competitiveness
Genuine parts work much better than the less expensive generic parts
This product is more durable than the off brands
Tried other cheaper generic brands and they didn’t last

But with all the other bags the leaves works get stuck in the throat of the bag and id have to empty the bag with at least half the bag empty
