Packaging and setup using the jidetech software cms were all as described in other reviews except that my software contacam could not connect to the camera

After going back and forth with the contacam developer he finally suggested that i try the onvif device manager software since the connection problem was apparently either a password or tcp port problem

The onvif device manager ill refer to it as odm to save space software is fantastic i couldnt believe the information it provides about your camera

One feature thats really nice and ended up helping to solve my problem is that it will show you the device username and password even if you arent logged into the camera

It was immediately apparent that the device password was not null or blank no characters as stated in the user guide but an apparently random string of letters and numbers

Once i used this password to get into the camera it connected and is working just fine
