It is sturdy and quite mechanical. The only thing that's off is that the toy makes police siren sounds when you push the *. The digger mechanism (forgive my lack of knowledge of its actual name) is fully functional and fun!
Cons
It's too small for a 3-5 year old as advertised on the box. It's flimsy, so it's a matter of time until something breaks. The instructions are a joke.

Its easy to pop back on but just the same as easy to frequently come off

The backrest of the seat also does not actually attach to the excavator and my son often takes it off and throws it somewhere
