I wasnt expecting much but when it arrived i was pleasantly surprised by the quality from the box which had real branding and product verbiage to the included protective lens film that you get to peel off for that new out of the box feel

When not expanded the metal bar retracts into the plastic so it isnt obvious in the pictures

I own the gear vr and its great but you cant take that with you to view justtaken 360 3d photos with the awesome cardboard camera app while on vacation

I lie the gear to keep the eyepieces aligned takes a little to get out of the case but i like the springloaded keep for mounting to a phone by its edges rather than a clip that squeezes the phone in the middle of the glass like a similar design

For a simple set these do great with normal short vr360° videos
