Recording on panasonic tvs rear usb slot will only accept 256gb and above not mentioned in manual

Just as a side note as i have often seen the question why does a drive report as smaller than the advertised size this is not unique to usb drives or any storage device it is the case with all drives and storage devices without going into the complexity windows and other operating systems displaying disk space in binary format computers use binary approximations of the decimal values resulting in displaying a lower capacity reported in an operating system you can verify drive size in the system setup bios program
