Pros

Solid state os drive is the only drive that can send files to the flash drive at it's maximum write speed. It comes in exfat format, and 3 mb is used space already. I like to keep 2 backups of most of my files and this is perfect for my second copy.

This one's a keeper folks! Lifelong customer for sure, from here on out. They all make life convenient.

Speed without disabling cache, requiring manual eject if you do so, is about half advertised but also fine. Ambient temp is higher, but i'm leaning toward a port issue.

Gb less is ridiculous. One gigabyte is 1. Will revert back to my old 256gb drive while waiting for the next practical 512gb to arrive.

Finder tends to freeze up and lag (as a whole) whenever this drive is inserted into a usb port. Then drive locks up repeated at 7 gb or 7.

This product is fatally flawed in its design. The question is - why manufacturer is cheating on us?

Id never really gone wrong using pny usb drives and the quality on this device did not disappoint


I got this usb after being satisfied with the 512 gig model


My work computer with an i710700 processor measured read and write speeds nearly twice as fast as the product listing


However the write speed was nearly the same as the read speed and much faster than the product listing indicated

Getting this half off the original price was fantastic


Only con i can think of is the price dropped 15 shortly after purchase

For a while i bought cheap 1tb usb drives and got burned


I cut it off with a dremel tool
