Looks pretty sturdy. The connector end gets warm, but not as hot as some of my other drives this size. I like how slim it is because i have the wii mounted behind my tv to keep everything hidden.

But i wish theyd spent a couple more pennies on the wrapper you slide on when its not in use its made of some soft plastic which clings tightly to the metal and does not want to come off once its been on for a day or two
