Pros

Go ahead and precut your plywood so that when a storm is coming you are ready and don't have to be cutting while rushed/stressed. They grip well and hold the wood in place. A hammer or rubber mallet is good for pounding them into place.

Buy them during the hurricane off season when the price is not gauged up. Survived a cat 3 hurricane with no damage to windows (just dinged up wood). They cost a little extra, but i will not have to worry about them rusting.

Simple to install and simple to remove. Removing is also easy. They install very easily and uninstall about as easy. Have not had to use but have installed and work perfectly.
