Pros
Replacement pipe, a braided steel thing from a big box store. Fixed my problems with black specks in the hot water caused by shark bite connector hoses. Do not overtighten, and use teflon tape on the threads prior to installation.

I tried several of the stainless ones which i could not get to seal well

With this type of fitting you need to get it just tight enough
