The only dock to use

The harddrive not the dock starts to go into thermal shutdown and reduces file transfers to a snails pace

I ended up buying a usb computer fan ac infinity s3 and fabricated an aluminum mount from scrap i had laying around and precisely attached it to the side of the dock where i assumed correctly there would be no electronics only plastic

Also this dock is ok when using an ssd drive samsung evo 850 500gb

Once again not a fault of the docking station but rather usb3 and uasp protocol are not as efficient as they claim
