I am really impressed with this product
We dont use wifi at home so am very pleased
Bought an hp stream which does not have an ethernet port and the plugable usb to lan does exactly what it says on the tin
For anyone else wondering you dont need an original otg cable from 1 for this to work any high quality one will work

It needs to be usb2 and 10100bpsthis plugable 10100 usb2 ethernet adaptor works fine
Not massive but enough to warrant the cost

Now that the switch is hardwired we’ve doubled the download speed 😃 we went from 14mbps to 28mbps 👍 used with a new cat7 1m ethernet cable
The vendor plugable technologies sent me an email prior to delivery with a link to the drivers which installed quickly and without issue

I plugged it in to test it immediately overrode the wireless connection that was active and i was away
