Pros

Requires two each so the quad pack fit the bill. These bulbs are made of plastic so gripping them is no problem. And they seem to install easier. Truly plug & play.

Warm light but much whiter that a 100w incandescent bulb. Not too bright, not too dim. Works great, nice and bright.

These work perfectly for me without removing the ballast. And they function perfectly with the supplied electronic ballast - no need to rewire.

Instant on, no flicker. No buzzing or flickering. Easily replaced my slow/noisy/flickering cfl.

With just 7w, its brightness exceeds the 13-15w cfl bulbs but consumes less energy. It's very bright compared to the older 14w fluorescent, which was barely noticeable.

Cons

The second one burned out in about 2 minutes. Whatever sort of ballasts these bulbs are compatible with, they aren't in my fixture.

Im glad i found these and theyre well worth the price

Anyway 25 worth of dead bulbs later and now it looks as if i have go back to crappy cfls

If these led bulbs last 2 years they will have paid for themselves

I leave the 5 watt led on all night as an inexpensive but bright night light
