Well this plexidor is basically an updated version of the classic doggy door

It works as a garage door would only instead of hitting a button this has an rfid chip that clips to your pets collar

First unless you are a handyman which i am not but my dad is and he helped me install it you will probably to hire a contractor to properly install this

They do come with detailed instructions and if you look hard enough you can find a few howto video on youtube

We actually ordered the petsafe door but it was really large and would have taken a little framing redo so we returned it without trying it out it was huge

The plexidor if you have a big dog you need to order with the long range sensor which is not shown online on this or their website
